Who? What? Where? When? Why? A little text would go a long way. We would love to know what we're looking at.

What da ya mean who are they? We were fans of the Oak Ridge Boys when William Lee Golden had brown (and short) hair. It looks like you are having an exciting time. There is a link on the Radio Station that is a sponsor where you can hear the final concert. They have a count down clock for it tomorrow. http://www.wmzq.com/pages/goinon/events32.html I hope this works because we want to listen to it before we head to a baptism. We're looking for more too.

Sorry about the lack of commentary...

Photos of everyone in red is our National Anthem Finale Concert at the Washington Monument....This is the end of our 4 year campaign to re-teach America our national anthem and to rally support for music education...We are partners in the project with each of the organizations listed on the back of the Oakridge Boy's jacket...Ours - the American Musical Salute is on the bottom...

Taylor swift performed - She is the new big thing in country music....Even Stetson likes her music. I had her write him a happy birthday note on her Platinum CD...

Jeremy, Tyson, Shad, Mike, were the only family members crazy enough to help out this week in DC. We could not have pulled it off without them.

We had about 5,000 people in town, about 125 bus loads, using 16 different hotels in town.....For those of you who have helped out with some of our events - You can only imagine the fun....

Fortunately everything went very well....Even though on the morning of the busiest day one of our trucks...had a problem with the box tipping off the frame of the truck....We all had to hustle to get all of the equipment off the truck onto vans and the other truck...Reminded me of the seen in Castaway when the truck was stuck in Russia.......

Anyway...We are done now, just finished the last day with a drum corp. international event with the navy drum and bugle corps in Annapolis...It was very cool..

We picked up the Washington Post yesterday to see a big photo of our event....I noticed there is a lot of publicity on line as well regarding the National Anthem Project....

Now you have probably heard more than you wanted to...but thanks for asking.

Tony was supposed to go. But because I'm a selfish wife. I played the sister card on Joel and got him out of it. Mary and Esther were here for most of the time their boys were in D.C. It was fun.
Sorry Tony, for making you miss all the fun and excitment of a "Fame Trip."

All I can say is WOW! It's ironic that Joel is the one who has a career in music. Good job!

Why is that Ironic?

I think of Nathan & Daniel as the singer/dancer/swing choir kind of guys and Joel as an athlete/drummer. Now they're not doing anything with it and Joel is. I think it's cool - you are a good influence on him! :)
