Enjoying Florida

Here we are in sunny, hot Florida. I tried blogging other pictures, but Im not very good at it. We were able to take the kids to the beach before they started school and we all had a wonderful time. We even waved to Mom and Dad across the atlantic. We are slowly but surely getting used to our surroundings. The kids started school today and so its just Bridger and I here at home. He is so bored and wants to go with his big brother and sister. Shad started school yesterday as well and he says its like being a first year law student all over again. Hope everyone is doing well and we are just waiting for people to come visit. We are hoping that Florida is more enticing than Mississippi was. Even with the threat of hurricanes....

I will definitely be there in 9 mos. :) This is such a fun experience for your kids! To live in Florida, go to the beach and go to Disney World! Take advantage of living there you'll only be there for a little while! Love you lots and keep blogging pictures you live in too cool of a place not to blog pictures at least once a month.

love the pictures the kids look like they were made for the beach. I thought the same thing Shauna did about Marlie. And yes just enjoy the fact that you get to be in "Florida" for a year. And love it!! Sometimes, just like anywhere, you will have to remind yourself to love it!

Everytime we see the Atlantic, we always comment to each other that Esther and Shad and their family are just on the other side of that water.

I told Jenn before I left for Flordia. So if you didn't know, you need to ask her. But yes, I am pregnant and due sometime in March-ish. Sorry about the sluggish telling of... but I have been rather busy and so I apoligize to anyone who didn't know.

Congrats Esther & Shad...Esther - how are you feeling? That's quite a lot to have to deal with...moving & being pregnant.

Im not feeling good and I am rather tired all the time. I hate it here so far but I hope that will change soon. I know its mostly my attitude but like you said the emotions of being pregnant doesn't help. Plus the kids are having a hard time too so I hate that.
But Shad got a professorship here that will pay for school so I know that we are blessed. Thanks for asking.

just remember, you said the same thing about mississippi and now you miss it like crazy. That's cool about Shad's professorship...so does that mean he'll be teaching classes?

Esther said...

I know, I remember feeling this way about MS, but the kids were younger so that part was easier and I wasn't pregnant.
The professorship just means that he will be working with professors on the law review for the tax program. But the really cool part is that he gets a scholarship for it that pays for school.

Esher, we would love to come, even if you didn't let us in on the news. Congrats. So hopefully we can make it over there. The kids would absolutley love it too. That is great about Shad's professorship.
