Soren, enjoying one of the gifts from his aunts.
Dad and Harrison and Marlie and Bridger, playing at the park. I, of course, was the resident paparazzi.
We took the kids to a park near their home, where there were many giant, Spanish moss draped oak trees. Can you see tiny Harrison standing in one of them?
We watched the Fame showchoir festival at Hard Rock Live. Dad worked and I watched. We were both so impressed with the quality of the performances. The winners, a school in Indiana, I think, celebrating their win. They were fantastic!
Sorry this is sideways! Crew and Grandma having a ride on the scooter that Steph rented for me so I could go to the choir festival.
Sunday dinner at the Brown's in Gainesville, with the Joel & Stephanie Biggs family.
Soren with his Aunt Stephanie
Dad and Joel and Shad took their boys and Marlie to see the alligators at the nature preserve near Esther and Shad's home.
This is what they were looking at. The trick is to get a good look without getting too close.
Dad is standing, here, in front of the Battleship, Alabama. He saw it from the freeway on our way East, and wanted to visit it when we were going home.
Here, we are on the causeway, a 24 mile bridge that crosses Lake Ponchartrain. It was amazing! We drove for 20 minutes, never seeing any evidence of land on either side of us, in front or behind us...just water as far as we could see. After tonight, we are just driving across Texas, so there will be nothing especially interesting to show you. We should be home on Wednesday or Thursday.

What great pics. Good thing for Steph!!! What a great idea about the scooter. Very cool that Joel's whole fam could go to Florida. And way cool that Esther's fam could have visitors and show off the new babe to more people. I must be talking about Esther, cuz all of my thoughts are in Esther language. What's it called....partial tongue? or half talk, I know you all call it something, but I can't think what it is. Esther, Soren is so cuddley cute. I can't wait to see him. Don't listen to Daniel about the spirit keeping you in FL. Feel the spirit closer to home, like Pima. Ha just kidding. Safford is more like it. I'm so happy that m&d get to have high adventures now. And I love the pictes

Partial tongue...Ha! What a great name for Esther talk.
Actually Joel rented the scooter and mom was so embarrassed! Our kids thought it was the greatest thing on earth and Levi informed us that for his 60th birthday -- he is buying himself a scooter! Soren is so "formed". He didn't look baby at all! His face is just like a little boy face on a baby body -- super cute! We had fun at S&E's and it is good for the kids to see their cousins!

It was so nice having Mom and Dad here for the week. They really helped out alot despite coming down with bad colds. I feel bad though, I wasn't up for hosting, so we didn't get to take them to see any fun things in Florida. It was really cool that Joel and Steph came with their boys. I thought it was nice because we got some one on one time with their kids. They are pretty cool kids. Thanks for coming you guys.
You know, for 18 years people have been asking my opinion about buying computers, but it never seemed to matter. Now that people are getting macs, it makes me a little nervous, though. I just hope that the apple computers live up to the hype I have been giving them all this time.
