More pool pics

First of all, the wonderful news about the temples to be built in Gilbert and the Gila Valley have been the focus this weekend. We are all so excited. Our prayers have been answered. We no longer feel like the "redheaded stepchild of the church" to quote I can't remember who...either Nathan or Joel or Daniel or Jeremy or Thomas. I can't remember who said it, but I know it was one of the boys. We now feel like priveleged characters.
Well, the pool is in the ground. There is still a lot to do on it, however, and they will do those things this coming week...I think...I hope. There is a lot of dirt in our yard that needs to go around the pool or be hauled away, and the concrete needs to be poured and the fence put up. We are getting so excited. Luke still is supervising, constantly. He gets up at 6:00 a.m., as soon as he hears the first trucks and/or tractors, and he stays out there watching everything. We even have to take his meals outside to him.

I took this picture tonight, in the dark. It is about 2/3 full. They are going to finish filling it tomorrow and, hopefully, eventually clean out all the dirt in the bottom of it...

Allison and Dallin both won the regional tennis tournament on Friday!!! Good luck next weekend at state!

And guess what else,
The nighbors I guess got sort of shy and private thet they're putting 2 more feet to the fence. And there's also a pool fence that goes about 4-5 feet ahead and about10-11 feet across. We can't even get in the backyard!!!!! (Well, me and Lillian can jump the fence but that doesn't really count.

Looks fun! My kids can't wait to try out the pool this summer. And do D & A play for school? I can't get any of my kids to play sports so I have to live vicariously through my nieces & nephews.

Yes. Dallin and Allison play for Safford High School. Thatcher has tried to recruit them, but they are Bulldogs through and through. I think Allison is planning to play for EAC when she graduates even though other schools want her. EAC has a championship tennis team and she can play with them and stay home and save money.

Thanks, mom for putting in pictures. The kids really have done well this season. They are the only 2 going to state finals from their team. So it doesn't seem like such a big deal, but it still is, and a great opportunity for them. We combined 2A and 3A this year, so they will meet up with more smaller private schools with the kids that have private coaches, so it won't be a walk, but a real competition, so we are really looking forward to it. The kids work great under preasure. I hate it, but we'll keep you posted
