 Josh's Eagle Court of Honor 7:00pm
Monday, June 30 - Preliminary fireworks shopping in morning
Leave for Nauvoo late morning - eat lunch on road?

"Sunset by MS" @ 8:00 (preshow)
Tuesday, July 1 - Old Nauvoo: handcarts, oxen, pioneer games, stores, visitor center, etc.
Eat dinner @ Nauvoo Family Inn
night - swimming pool or "Rendezvous in Old Nauvoo" (requires tickets)
Wednesday, July 2 - Youth baptisms @ 8:00am, then tour downtown Nauvoo: shops & stuff;
Adult endowment session @ 6:00pm; kids hang out & eat pizza & watch movie in hotel
Thursday, July 3 - Checkout; drive to Carthage (25 min) & tour jail & visitor center
Eat lunch & drive back to NE - be home by dinner
Friday, July 4 - THE BIG SHOW!  Fireworks shopping, finalize show plans, make t-shirts?, etc. A group can go to the zoo if there is interest.

We can shorten the Nauvoo trip by a day if people want to do some more things in Nebraska (Winter Quarters, Zoo, steak fry, more fireworks shopping, etc.). Let us know what you think.

We are all excited, and looking forward to the extra people we will have with us this year.

Maybe an extra day in Omaha? I felt, just reading it, that everyone would be really rused getting ready for the fab fourth. I don't know, though, I haven't ever done it with y'all, so I totally bow to your thoughts on it. I think the itinerary looks great, and a lot of fun, too.

Well, we can plan to go to Carthage after the temple baptisms on Wednesday, then come back to Nebraska Wednesday afternoon. It would probably mean that we would cut out the handcart trek on Tuesday to have more time around the sites.

That would give us all day Thursday and Friday to do things around here. I like that plan, if it is okay with other people.

By the way, what does "everyone would be really rused" mean? Is that a new mom word?
