Clair Millett's funeral was last week. It was held in Meldrum's Mortuary and the luncheon was held in the Mesa Women's Club, which, by the way, has memories for Dad and me when we were young. Dad used to go there often with his mother and perform his accordian and was even in a little kids' fashion show. I remember being in a fashion show when I was a young teenager, but my memories are mostly of living right across the street from it. Anyway, the funeral was very nice. Wade conducted and Clair's nephew, who is an active returned missionary from Scotland, played the bagpipes as Clair requested. The thing is, he played LDS hymns! They were beautifully done. Kim had asked us to be in charge of the luncheon, and all of you just pitched right in and brought food and helped us serve. You were wonderful. Carolyn's family also helped with salads. A special thanks to Joel and Steph who got all the sandwiches and punch and cakes from Costco for us that very morning so that we could go to Hayden's grandparents' day. And thanks to Docker and Crew for being so understanding about our not being able to go to their grandparents' day. We love you guys.

I wish I could have been there. It's not very often we get to see the Biggs side of the family. Sad that it has to be a funeral. we need to have some more get togethers.

Im glad you took so many pictures. Like Mary said we don't see them very often so the pictures were nice to see. Im sure they were very glad that you guys went and especially glad that you put on the luncheon.
