Daynen, Brianna, and Isabelle
The kids have fall break this week so we decided to head to Safford for the weekend. It was Mary's birthday and fair weekend so we were excited to come. We are always looking for an opportunity to have Korean food with Tyson and Marys so we found this to be a great opportunity.
Our first stop was Angle's Orchard. The kids really had a good time picking their own apples, even in the rain!
I think the favorite for Hayden and Tayte was climbing the trees. Some times the wind would pick up and we thought Hayden might just blow right out of the tree.
Hayden's favorite apple is a Granny Smith so he spent the whole time in that tree. That is where I spent most of my time too.
The orchard worked up a good appetite for some La Paloma!

I will have to say I love my Granny Smith Apples as well.
I will probably be sick of them by the time I am done peeling them all!
Next was the FAIR!
There's not much to say about the fair, its. . . . the fair. You can ask Jeremy about his fun times with Luke! It involved a porta potty.

That was a fun weekend. And thanks for all the Birthday meals! They brought us wings from "Wings X-press" for my birthday eve meal, then we went to lapaloma (sp) had a BBQ at mom's, then KOREAN!!! And Last El Charo! It was way fun we owe Daynen like 200 army men for putting up with us. He couldn't have had much fun with Carson. His "happy hum" starts getting to your head. I guess better then the screaming. Thanks for coming guys! And LOVE the big pic! It's cool how you can get it so big!
Oh yeah Jer's waffles were for my birthday breakfast!!! With strawberries and whip cream! I was totally spoiled!

We probably would have stayed a little bit longer if we had known you were taking pics, but me and Lillian HAD to get Reygan on the "Tornado" before she got scared. Which she totally didn't. By the way, The pic of the feris wheel chair was us, even though you could barely tell.
Great blog...Those look like god apples for making apple pie for Thanksgiving.
The apple-picking trip was totally worth all the work...says I, without having gone and done any of the work myself! I say that because Erika has put up all those apples, making apple butter, apple sauce, apple pie filling and who knows what other apple treats. Dad and I received a jar of apple butter, so their work was worth it to us!!:)
