Setting apart

Dad and I were set apart on Sunday evening by President Mark Herrington. He was assisted by Scott, Shad, Tyson (and Dad, for mine). Tony was home with the babies...he didn't know that the kids would be invited to participate. Anyway, Pres.H. gave us wonderful blessings. He blessed Dad that he would recall his language and be proficient in it as he was when he was a young missionary. He also said that this calling would be a type and a shadow of future callings. (The kids interpreted this to mean he would be called as a mission president someday...) In my blessing he mentioned the good relationship Dad and I have and said that because of it we would be among the elite in heaven. (The kids interpreted this to mean that we are going to die...)Anyway, we felt good about the blessings we received and feel better prepared to serve. We missed the rest of you but we know your prayers are with us too.
All our love,
Dad & Mom
