Grandma Hiatt's Banana Bread
1/2 c. soft margerine (not butter)
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
7 large blackish bananas (mashed)
1 t. baking soda
1 t. baking powder
1 t. vanilla
1 t. salt
Put it all together in a bowl and mix. Spray 2 regular bread pans pour equal amounts in each top with white sugar bake @ 400 for about 45 minutes.
Grandma's recip is actually a little different. I have just improved it.:) love, Rebecca

CARMEL CORN
Melt 2 cubes margarine (not butter)
in a sauce pan
add 2 c. brown sugar
1 t. sugar
1/2 c. karo syrup bring to a full boil, remove from heat and add:
1 t. vanilla
1 t. baking soda
stir fast and it will rise up to the top of the pan. Immediately pour over plain popped popcorn, (a big bowl, like grandmas metal one) You can even bake it so it will be like er jacks, but you proabably won't get it on the pan fast enough, it's better hot.
