Thomas and I are proud of our first effort to excercise since the "Biggs Support Group" has been activated.
We walked with a neighbor of ours, pushing and carrying our kids the entire half a mile to our nearest grocery store parking lot. Then we treated ourselves to lunch at a place called Giant Hamburger (very tasty). Followed with the return journey home. We walked an entire mile! Well it's a start anyway, maybe next time we'll skip the burgers and just do the walking?!
That is all for the Thomas Bellamy Biggs family wellness update. We hope to post more later!

hey, sounds like you guys are on your way. I tried a similar task the other day. I walked to Minute Market got a 44 ouncer and some packaged pastries. It was too hard to run, eat and drink so I rested on the curb eating my reward and waited for Rach to come get me. At least it was a diet soda.

Hey Tony, you are an inspiration to me. Can I join your support group?

Yes, Nathan...though we do have some physical requirements. I mean not everyone can down a bucket of cola in one sitting.

It sounds like Dad needs to be in one support group and I need to be in the other! He and I go walking in the mornings and he walks a long way,(I don't know how far because I don't even try to keep up with him), and I walk for about 10 minutes and then either sit on a park bench and read or if it's raining, I sit in the car and read. If I had any of my own money to spend, I would go across the street to one of the local pastlerias(pastry shops) and buy a a reward to munch on while I am waiting. Thank goodness I don't have money... I guess.
