Another Car Experience
Today I was driving Dallin in Corben to his carving class down at EAC (with my mother). On the way back I was at a 4-way stop and and a cop was across from me. That immeadiatly made me a little nervous, so when it was my turn to go, I was stalling and chugging along. I finally turned into 8th ave. and was going along. Then the cop pulls up behing me with his lights going! My mom and I both started freaking out, and she's yelling at me to pull over. I pull over and and we're looking for all those license and registration papers, and luckely we both had our licenses. The cop comes up to my window and starts asking the usually questions. I guess there usual, I've never been pulled over before. Then the cops like, ok are you a drunk driver or a beginning driver. We both started talking then, "no I'm just learning how to drive standard" etc. He was really nice after that. He even stood outside and helped me pull out because I couldn't see past his car with the blinking lights going. So ya, I can now say that I have been pulled over for drunk driving. I don't waste any time do I. Anyway I love you all. -Allison

First of all I wasn't freaking out and second of all I wasn't yelling. She must have put those 2 adjectives in for the sake of the story. It was a funny experience though. She is really doing very well on her driving. So confident is she that she thought that she could drive all by herself to walmart when I was in Mesa. Guilt got the best of her and she confesed.
Love being a mom,

I believe in you Allison. I was driving when I was 11 -- part of the farm experience. (My dad and grandpa liked us to be able to go and flip the water switch on the farm!) So by 16, I was a pretty good driver. You probably can drive all by yourself and be just great!

I so wish that I was there!!!! That would have been fun. Im
sure you are doing great and I can't wait to drive with you again.
I'm so glad he was nice to you so you know that cops can be nice and helpful. Next time you see one you won't freak out. Just wave.
No cops are like cocroches no matter what everytime you see one you freak out. So just get use to it.
Yeah, cops are out to get you no matter what. Especially now that you have a record.
That's the problem with cops...they always let the pretty girls get away with anything...

When my dad was working for the Mesa Police Department he would pull up behind my mom and filp on his lights. Then when she pulled over he would go ask her what was for dinner, or tell her he loves her, or something funny like that.
My mom would always get nervous when he would pull her over, and no matter how funny it was to us, she was still upset...Ha Ha, good times!
