Tayte gave a talk in church today and this is what he wanted to talk about. I of course helped him, but this is where his heart was.
"Right after my baby sister was born my auntie had twins. They found out when the babies were in her stomach that one of the babies had a bad kidney. Our family would fast and pray for the babies a lot to make sure they would be okay. After she was born she was doing better than they thought and she didn’t need surgery right away. This week my cousin is getting surgery. She is just a little baby and has a bad kidney. Our family is fasting for her to be safe and that everything will go good. Fasting means that we have faith that Heavenly Father will help her. We have a very big family and I know all of their prayers will help her to be okay. I know that Heavenly Father loves me and he will answer my prayers. Heavenly Father loves baby Camille and wants her to be okay too. I know that Heavenly Father can hear the prayers from everyone in our family and we all will be blessed, especially Camille and her mom and dad and brother and sisters.
I am grateful to have the faith to pray for the people that I love and know that they will be blessed.
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."
He did a great job.
Also we had a great visit with Buddy (Docker's dog) while their family was back east. He ended up hurting his foot and it got real swollen and infected. We took him to the vet and we got to take the Buddy Satellite home with us. It was probably worse for Steph who had to worry about it across the country while on vacation. But it really wasn't that bad for us. But we always love or little visits with Buddy because we get to send him back home. That gives our kids the dog fix they need. Ellie loved Buddy she would just run around the house after him saying, "Buddy! Buddy!". Well until Joel and Steph's next trip . . .

Thank you Tayte and Erika for such a great talk, I sat here and read it with tears in my eyes, realizing the amazing support we have. Thank you, everyone for fasting and praying for Camille. I'm so grateful for all of you. And blessed to have you all as my family. Thank you, again.

Dearest Tayte and Erika, I just read your wonderful talk and wept the whole time. Thank you so much for your loving support. I know that Heavenly Father loves Camille and you and all of us and that He will help her. I'm sure your faith and prayers touched His heart the way they have touched ours. We miss you so much. Please tell your Mom and Dad to send us some more pictures of you.

quite honestly, I don't think anyone heard it. It was in Jr primary- need I say more! But it was great for Tayte and our family. He really liked giving this talk.
