Recognize the old church building in St. Johns...I talked the family into a detour on the way home from Greer - I don't think they were overly excited, but they all agreed to go....I am sure they thought it would be a much cooler place because of all of the great adventure stories they hear about....
Main Street - was a ghost town on Sunday I guess everyone was in church...

The new house - nothing much changed...

The old house - looked pretty bad...and much smaller than I remember.

Docker, getting his share on Thanksgiving day at the Greer Lodge..

Fun shooting rockets

Who all is coming to Grandma Hiatts for the party on the 16th? We shoul have Breakfast, a steak fry or at least some burros...Let us know...We would love to have ya all over...

I remember the front step on the new house being much higher than it looks on the picture. It was kind of a big deal to jump our bikes off of it but now I'm not sure what I was worried about. Cool pictures of town. About a year ago our family stayed in the Trail Riders Motel now under some other name and Pakistani managment but either way, we stayed in the actual room that we climed through the bathroom window in when trying to hide from the motel manager when we were kids. - Daniel
I can't believe those pictures of St. Johns, they made me smile. I haven't been back there in so long, but the last time I was there it wasn't on a Sunday and it still looked like a ghost town. We are coming for the Hiatt party, so a breakfast thing sounds like a great idea. keep us posted

Your kids look different, much more grown up
Thank you for all the pictures. I apologize for telling Stephanie that you hadn't blogged any. I should have looked first. We loved seeing our old homes. What memories. But we loved seeing your kids even more. Thank you. So, Grandma's party is the 16th, huh? We'll be missing all of you then, and thinking about what a good time you are having together. I think we are going to a musical program the district missionaries are putting together in Santarem(Santarang) on that day.
I didn't even know there was an "old house??!!" I thought the house I lived in was the only house. Oh well, I guess there are things about St. Johns I don't remember or even know, it's still fun to hear all of your memories. But how 'bout this one...Thomas do you remember that one time watching a movie in the basement in our Safford house, and almost getting kicked out? :) There, there's one of my memories. We are coming to g-ma's thing too and that sounds like fun! We need to get together so we can have some good Biggs family time during the holidays! Let me know how I can help.
GREAT picture of those good look'n boys!
We were just in Greer, we love it there. Tim and Darlene owned the Lodge and cabins just around the bend the White Mountain Lodge. They are selling it, it should close this week. Also they are selling the cabins. We've eaten at the Greer Lodge a lot. Did you stay in the Lodge or in a cabin?
We are planning on coming for the Hiatt party. I was asking Thomas, when he was here for Thanx- if we were all going to get together for a gift exchange or just gift give on our own time. So would we do that then? What choo all think?

A breakfast would be great, the earlier the better for me. I have to work the night before and the night after. But really I could go at any time, just probably not to both parties. Let us know.
