I remember when you were born, it was pretty exciting. You were the first one to be born in our first house in St. Johns. If I remember right, Mom insisted on going back to Mesa to deliver you. It seemed like from the time Mom brought you back, you were making our life just a little more interesting. Mom and Dad would give the whole family one "bigger" present at Christmas time every year. I think that they told us that you were our present that year (it was either you, or the "mouse trap" board game, I can't recall).
The funniest thing that I remember from when you were a little kid, is the way you used to talk in a British accent to me. Whenever I would try to get you to say something to someone else to show them how funny you were, you wouldn't do it.
Anyway, thanks for being a good sister. I love you and hope you have a happy birthday.
Your brother, Nathan

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL!!!
You are amazing. I thought you were before having the twins, but now even more. Whenever I get a chance to babysit them (which is not that often) I just laugh, because I don't know how you do it every single day. I think you must laugh a lot. I'm glad that we have become such good friends, hopefully that makes up for me not being such a great friend when we were young, but I really do enjoy hanging out with you and exercising with you every morning. Your deserve a great birthday.
Love, Rebecca
Happy Birthday Deech!
Ya remember that good ol' nickname? I'll take credit for making it up. Your my favorite sister and deserve a great birthday. Don't really remember that much about your youth. You were always happy and didn't seem to care much about what anybody else thought, you just always seemed to do what you wanted to. Huh, just like you do now! I was always proud to have a sister with so many cool scars and one who was a better athlete than everyone else in the family, but yours truly!
Happy Birthday
Joel
ps to esther, rebecca, and mary: You're my favorite too.
Hi Rachel--
Happy Birthday. Hope you have a great day! It was fun to see you yesterday and your cute kids. And to Tony -- quit faking the back ache and give Rachel a backrub! (Joel made me say that)
Love
Steph
Connie say's it's not your birthday until the 19th. Since that's what her calendar said on one of your past birthday's, that’s what she thinks...Calendar is Law...
On this fine snowy Sunday afternoon, we're drinking hot chocolate and eating fresh Connie baked chocolate chip cookies in front of a roaring fire talking about how great it would be if you and Tony would ever unwrap last year's Christmas present, which was to bring your kids up and go skiing while we watch the twins. Maybe someday...
Along with Esther, you have been our favorite next door neighbors and we miss all of those great times from steaks to swarms of bees to collapsing ceilings, it was great to have you so close even if you didn't like me starting my old truck right next to Riley's window right after you finally got her to go to sleep at 6:00 in the morning. We love you and miss you and hope you all the best.

Oops something happened when I was trying to comment (the last two). Anyway Happy Birthday Aunt Rachel. -Porter
Rachel you have always been such a great big sister! And I always looked up to you! I remember when you were in high School you would always come home after I went to bed and go to school earlier then I would wake up and I would always want to borrow a shirt or something from you and so I would leave you notes on your bed asking you if I could borrow a shirt, and without fail even though I now know it drove you crazy you would always leave it hanging on my door knob. Thank you for being such a great big sister I still look up to you and was wondering if I could borrow a sweater this weekend? :) Love you Rach, Happy Birthday!
Nathan, it is so much fun, each time someone has a birthday to read your memories. And Rachel, everything everyone has said is so true! You are amazing and we are grateful that you agreed to come to our family as lucky number 7! Lucky for us!!! We love you so much. Happy birthday from Dad and Mom
Rach
Happy Birthday! You are and have always been an amazing sister. We are closer now then we were when we are young but I think that is how it is supposed to be. You always supported me and I always felt you liked me even when I was probably not so likable. Thank you for being a great example and a wonderful friend. Love you.
PS. Mom I am lucky number 7! I can't believe you got mixed up. Come on you only had 9 of us. :)
Esther

RACH,
I hope you HAD a great birthday. I feel like such a loser for not wishing you a happy birthday yesterday. But you should feel at least a little better because yours is the first birthday comment I've left. I didn't do Rebecca's, Mary's, Joel's or even Mom's. That must mean you're pretty special. I've got a lot of good memories though. I was always so proud to have a sister that was always willing to go out in the back yard and play 1 on 1 football, baseball and basketball with me. The sad thing is that you were just as good if not better than me. And I remember being so proud when we watched you playing ward softball here in Mesa and seeing you playing shortstop barehanding a ground ball and throwing it to 1st to get the out. That was Awesome! Probably one of my favorite memories though is the box of fudgicles we ate by ourselves by the time we got home from Safeway. That was fun. Hope your birthday was good.
Jeremy
Jer, I remember in the back yard, I was standing 2 feet infront of the "inzone," which was just past Daisy's grave. I wanted to score so bad, I paid you a dollar to let me pass. The thing was, we didn't ever just play touch or flag, it was full on tackle. Good times!! Thanks for the comment.
Rach
Oooops!!!!!How dumb! I know she's number 6, really I do. Every one of you is a lucky number whatever number you are!
