I hope you have a happy birthday today. I don't have a lot of stories to tell about you, so maybe everyone else can add theirs. You have been a great addition to the family. Oh...I figured that I would post an updated picture from the future lawyer's workout group. Happy birthday!

You are a wonderful man and you keep me laughing constantly. I love you.

Happy Birthday Uncle Shad!

Happy Birthday Shad, I never forget your birthday, because it's my anniversary:-)
Thanks for giving up your bed when we came for a sleepover. It was fun to visit with you, and to see your life in Mississippi. You are a very cool guy.
Love, The Evans Family.
happy birthday Shad.I hope you have a great birthday. How many presents did you get. Polly
Yeh, how many presents did you get? We know you didn't get ours yet because we couldn't mail it early enough with all the holidays. But we love you tons and appreciate all you do for our daughter and grandchildren. You are a happy, funny, cute (handsome) addition to the Biggs family.

We have a memory of Shad...Do you remember the Stake Youth Program you put on in Safford? We finally decided that Shad was just a good actor and not really as bad as he portrayed, with earrings and chains and leather, tatoos and crazy hair, and an attitude to match (that's how we remember it anyway) or we would have been aprehensive about entrusting our innocent daughter to such a tough dude.
I Can see it now - The "Eagle", the "Wolf", and now..."Shaddy Bear"? - Oh well, What ever works I guess, but I would have gone for somthing like the "Crock",or mabe the "Vulture"
Hey have a H.B.D. ya old man...

One of my favorite memories of Shad is his uncanny ability to portray Gene Frenkle (sp?) from the Blue Oyster Cult. Copy this web address into your browser, go down to the "Watch Cowbell Skit" link and enjoy:

I think Shad does the cowbell better than Will Farrell. I'll always appreciate Shad's self deprecating humor. There's no one funnier than the guy who can laugh so much at himself. Hope you have a great birthday Shad. Jeremy, Erika and Fam.
Hey uncle shad.Just wanted to wish you a happy Birthday.Sooo...Happy Birthday!

Shad Michael-
Happy Birthday....Brother. Words cannot fully express my adoration and sincere respects for a truly great man. Though our time together at FAME was short, much of what I consider most precious was learned at your feet.
It was from you that I learned the three rules of life that have chartered my course in leading to the success I am today.
#1- It's ok to eat lunch at 9:00 in the morning.
#2- It's ok to eat lunch more than once a day.
#3- NOTHING is more important than lunch. Contacts, Contracts, and Clients all take a back seat to lunch. When it's time for luch, it's TIME for lunch.
Here's to celebrating the day of your birth, and your first lunch-
Tyson
Happy Bithday Shad! I too remember the good 'ol youth conference. Even though you were the guy portraying all the wrong choices you were my favorite one because you were the funniest one. Oh yeah and one time you were trying to help me with my math and you said, "Mary, don't try and figure out how it works you just do it" (thanks shad that helps a lot)So you're funny and smart too! You're a great brother Shad! I'm glad you're in our family!
-Mary
I was just finishing lunch and thought I'd comment on all your comments. Thank you all for the trip down memory lane. All the fond memories, the skater dude complete with green hair and nose ring (fake of course), the beloved cow bell, and who can forget all the lunches; apparently not Tyson. While the Shaddy Bear is an attractive name for my new firm, I think I decided to go with, "The Bear, the Shady Bear." Everyone wants a lawyer who is just a little shady. I'm also thinking about just calling the place the "Shad, Shad Brown Firm." Well, I better go, I think it’s about time for lunch.
Shad
Happy Birthday Shad.
that whole "Lunch" bit was Ha-larious! (Tyson)
You have such a great sense of humor. you always say things in a way that is so funny. One of my favorite ones is the "2 far see's" In your southern drawl, you explain how they give directions in Miss-sip "...Go as far as you can see then go as far as you can see again." That may not seem as funny as it is, if you haven't heard him do it I suggest you do!!
I was going to get Tony the ESPN Scene it, game but realized he would have to play it alone. Then Jer and Er suggested that Shad could play it with him. Thanks for having so much in common with Tony. sports, coke, diet Coke when you decide you are going to do better.:) ASU football, any football for that matter. I'm glad I have someone to complain too.(Esther) about all the sports watch'n and Coke drink'n.
Hope you had a great day. And we too, are glad you are in the Family.
Rach
Hey, Happy Birthday Shad. Rachel mentioned something about blogging on your birthday post. I've been trying to think about what to say since this morning...so I guess I have been thinking about you all day long. I'm not sure what that means exactly and don't read anything into it.
I trust Esther made it the best birthday like everrr. Presents and breakfast in the morning, thoughtful phone calls throughout the day, preceding only more presents and more thoughtfullness when you got home, culminating with a candlelite dinner...yada yada, yada.
Feliz Cumpleanos my friend! I hope it is (was) a good one. We miss you in Arizona.
I'm a little late, but happy late birthday anyway. The first thing I remember is that we went to some family picnic specifically to meet you, so we knew Esther REALLY liked you. It's a testament to your personality that you are a proud Democrat in a family of Republicans. (That's OK - my Grandma is, too. The only time she voted Republican was for Nixon, so that ended THAT!) I also remember you saying that your mom's homemade yogurt was really good, so I was impressed by both of you for that. And you must know some good things growing up in a house full of sisters. It's funny (Is is for you?) that the Biggs brothers always pick you up in pictures, but fortunately it doesn't matter in life how tall you are - just how big your heart is. You & Nathan talk the same lawyer-speak, so you should talk more often because nobody else understands. Your kids are like my surrogate family because they have the same personalities as my sister's kids. Have a great year!
