Albert on the slopes. He is absolutely amazing. I wish he had just a little more fear as he buzzes all over the mountain. He even took his mom on a Blue run through the trees today without Connie being fully prepared for it but she made it and Albert had to pay later but it was fun.
Porter and
Shadrach are the terrors of the midway. They own the mountain and everyone knows it. They are arguably up and down the mountain more than anyone else up there and except for the near frostbite, they would still be going. They started right at opening and we didn't join them til around noon so they
skiied hard all day.
For nearly the last 15 years this woman has been pregnant and unable to ski so this is the first season in a long time that she is skiing and she's really good at it. I think her boys better watch out because it won't be long until she's right with them.
You know you've made the big time in sports when you get a nickname. Remember the "flying tomato" won the gold in snowboarding last year for example. Today I am no longer just Daniel

skiier, I am "Yard Sale"...which according to my boys, when I crash everything goes everywhere so it looks like a yard sale...I guess its better than no name at all.
I made it down the mountain with most of my stuff and a little less dignity.

Devynne convinced that she wants to snowboard now too so together they'll get it figured out and maybe they'll get cool nicknames like mine. By the way,
Devynne was behind the lens on all of these shots so we didn't get any of her so more to come later of

Im telling you, you guys have way too much fun. Everybody looks really cool in their get-up.
Cool (cold) pictures, Daniel and Devynne! It even made being cold look good to a couple of confirmed desert rats like us. By the way, how did Albert "pay for it later?"
You guys look like you belong on TV. You look like you are really good and having a good time. That kind of life is something that is so unreal to us, but we really do love the pictures.

That looks like sooo much fun. Snow sking is one of the things I've always wanted to do, so we'll definatly have to come up there in the winter so you guys can teach me.

Daniel, I mean "Yard Sale" That is a cool name, maybe you should think about Rapping. I think you could get away with a name like that, not only if your a skiier but a rapper. too funny, I love your family togetherness. I know when Tony see's this he'll want to go to Colorado. He and I both love to ski. In fact Erika taught me how to ski on that very mountain. but we haven't been in awhile. Have you tried the ski boards? I did those a couple years ago I don't think I'll ever go back to regular skis, but snow boarders are the coolest. Keep it up Parker.
