They Even Cancelled Church Today

We got a nice big snow last night (8 inches). I got up early to clear the driveway before church, but the bishop ended up cancelling our meetings. The national weather service said to only drive in case of emergency.

Here is a picture of our front yard.

The back of the house from the deck.

This is actually from a few weeks ago when we had another snow. Hannah was so proud of her snowman (I think that it was good too). Sorry the photo is blurry it was taken with a cell phone.

I love it...I wish I could come plow it for you.
We prayed for snow last night and had a forcast for 6 inches but only got a little dusting. I looked on the weather service and Safford even had snow in the forcast...did you guys get any there? - Daniel

Wow! That looks like so much fun. Did you tie an innertube to the back of your car and drag your kids in the snow? If not, you should. That was one of my favorite memories of snow in St. Johns.

looks so magical, it's still snowing here in Safford, it's beautiful, but it's not sticking. The kids are hoping to have it so thick tomorrow morning that they will be forced to have a snow day.

I am excited for you guys to get snow. It really is kind of fun to have snow. No day off of school for us though. They have all of the roads cleared, and it is fairly warm (30 degrees)

Very cool. We are so excited to have snow. It's 10:35 and it's still come'n down. As soon as we saw the first flurry we all called eachother, (in towners) and asked if it was snowing at there house. Apparently Mary's snow flakes are bigger than mine, or Rebecca's. Love it!!

I hear that Thatcher and Safford are covered this morning. Send pictures please. My brother says that Thatcher cancelled school. Wow a snow day! Now that just doesn't happen in the Gila Valley. Steph

Hey that looks so good--and cold--. It's only 50 here in Portugal, but it goes straight through you. You all will think that is warm, but wait until you try it sometime. That's great that you are getting snow in Safford too. Sorry we missed it. We miss all of you. M & D, G & G
