Thought I'd give you a family update. We just measured our kids: Josh is 5'11-3/4", Bethany is 5'9", and Hannah is 5'2". Josh just had an impromptu party at our house & played bb w/church, friends, & dad all day Sat. He has good friends. He won't take driver's ed & is working on raising his grades, so maybe someday he'll get his license. He is struggling with the ups and downs of teenage emotions and high school drama, so he could use your prayers.
Bethany sleeps all the time & uses her diversion tactics to try to get out of doing anything. She made up a dance called "Pick, Roll, & Flick" with her friend in typical Bethany style. She knows everything & is annoyed by us all. And, yes, the world does revolve around her. She would love X-Box games for Valentine's Day, so feel free to send them with your spare money.
Hannah is starting to babysit. She has a weekly job for an hour or so & just got her 1st official job to sit at somebody's house. She has some funky eczema rash thing on her arm that is baffling the dr. & is driving her nuts. She has a violin concert this week & gets so bored that she cleans and rearranges her room several times a week.
I'm in major pain most of the time from my back - doing PT & going to chiro. If I was a horse, I'd just want to be shot to be put out of my misery. I'm working on organizing our food storage into buckets & labeling.
Nathan hurt himself @ BB & has bruises to show. His job has been, shall we say, unprofitable & is considering other alternatives. So far only responses around Omaha. We are down to our last resources, but still eating. He helped out with the Primary missionary activity & had all the kids eat on the floor & try dried seaweed. (Some kids did like it!) We're having all the young singles in the stake over for dinner next week (It's monthly).
So, no rest for the weary... Hope everyone's doing fine in your part of the country.

I can't believe how tall your kids are. I know they're tall but when you put a yard stick to them it seems to make them even taller. Sounds like you've got great friends for everyone too which is cool. I don't know about the sea weed...whether sitting on the floor or at the table, dried or undried, I don't have any desire to aquire a taste for that. I'll leave that to you and Tyson. I do like that Korean Restaraunt that we went to with Nathan, Tyson, and Sam and wives but the dried weed just doesn't appeal to me. Otherwise, you're in our prayers. We love the NE Biggs' and hope you the best and believe me we would love nothing more than to help in any way you would like...Thanks
I can't believe how your kids are not so much kids anymore. It blows my mind that they are all grown up now. In height anyway. Hope things look brighter soon and maybe Nathan can find a job in AZ. That would be great. Maybe we will see you there in a while huh?
Has Nathan tried Arizona? How we would love it if he found something there! I can hardly stand it that your kids are growing up ( and up and up) without us to see it happen. Send pictures!!! And, Shauna, I can't believe that you would be able, let alone willing, to organize food storage when your back is hurting so much. What a woman. We love you all so much. Thanks for the blog.
I'm doing it because nobody will help me. And yes, I've asked repeatedly. I guess I'm the only one who cares if we eat. So I do it as long as I can stand, then take some medicine & lay down with my rice bag. I'm so tired of everthing being disorganized.
Nathan came home from the mish- and made me try the sea weed and Kimchee the sea weed almost made me throw-up but the kimchee wasn't that bad!
