Happy Birthday, Stephanie!

Happy Birthday, Stephanie.

It seems like you have been part of this family almost as long as I have. I appreciate the way you keep a sense of humor about things. It seems like you don't take yourself or others too seriously. Shauna is at girls camp this week, so she won't be able to post anything till this weekend. I am sure that she would have a lot of great things to say about you.

Have a great day.

Nathan

Stephanie we're so glad you're in the family. We agree with Nathan that you have an awesome sense of humor and are great to have around when we're just talking about life because your perspective on life helps us to not take things too seriously. Selfishly speaking we're glad that you clothe your boys in the latest name brand stuff because after you buy the newer stuff, we get their old stuff which by no means is old. We have to say it was a blast to have you guys up for a visit and look forward to another ski trip next season. Shannyn loved going to the hotel with you all and just this last week she drew a few pictures of her and Crew with hearts all over it. We love you and hope you have a great happy birthday. - Connie and Daniel

Happy Birthday, Steph. How thankful we are that you are ours. You are just exactly the kind of girl we would have chosen for Joel... if he had let us choose. Thankfully, he has good taste and chose the best for himself. You are not only classy and smart but you are genuinely loving and unselfish. In fact, one of your greatest qualities, and you have many, is your generous unselfishness. I could learn a few things from you in that regard. Thank you for being such a good wife to Joel and such a good mother to our grandsons and such a loving daughter and friend to us. We love you, Steph

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Stephanie!!!

You have always been an awesome sister in law. You are always so fun to talk with and to laugh with. I really liked how we used to do family home evening with Nathan and Shauna. The best was when you opened the fridge door to keep the kitchen cool. You are great at throwing a party, they are always tons of fun, because you don't seem to stress. I remember thinking when Joel first brought you home, that he was one lucky guy. I really like how all of your boys adore you. You truly must be their queen.

It's been fun having kids the same ages, and watching them grow up together.

Happy birthday,
love Rebecca, and family

Happy Birthday Stephanie! Just thinking about your birthday brings back many memories--all great! When we saw you and Joel at the stake dance instruction for the Young Men and Young Women I had the uncanny feeling we would be seeing much more of you. I am grateful for that. We appreciate your patience with us staying at your house so much and letting us participate on your trip to the Canyon. That's when we decided that would be a perfect time and place to get the whole family together. When ever I would see your folks we would always end up checking up to see how things were going with Stephanie and Joel and their boys. For all of you who remember the little white Mitsubishi Pickup--that is what Joel courted Stephanie in and it was handed down to Daniel, Jeremy (?), Thomas and ME! I drove it until the AC froze up on it and even then I just disconected the belt and kept on driving--like the Energizer Bunny. Oh well, we don't want to date all of us so Happy Birthday and thank you for all you do for us. Love, Tom

Happy Birthday
I don't know if you will read these, but I hope eventually you will. I count myself lucky to have a sister-in-law like you. You are fun to be around, beautiful, funny and you have wonderful ideas. I appreciate the emails back and forth while I was in Mississippi. I looked forward to them. You had some great advice and Im glad I can come to you with situations. I hope your boys treat you well today and everyday and you have a most wonderful birthday.

Steph happy birthday!
I also remember that night at the "so you think you can dance" night for the youth. When you walked in with Joel, I thought "wow I wonder why Joel thinks he's good enough for her, she must have been assigned to help him with this or something." (ha j/k Joel)I remember thinking you were so beautiful and knew Joel wanted to hang on to you. Because he was always worried about what we looked likein front of you. If our hair was combed or if we had a cute outfit on, or at least a clean one. He thought I should cut my hair because your's was short and he liked short, he is proud of the fact that you got your degree and wanted us to be like you and get one too. I too was proud to have you both speak at a noon side at the college and felt like I had the coolest most popular speakers ever. And they just happen to be my brother and sister. But with all his worry and you being the beauty Queen that you are, you are the most giving, down to earth, funny, person I know.
You taught us to turn our foot out in a picture and that details count, you pay more attention to the detail of things than Martha, her self. We can always count on you for a good idea or for a great party! (In fact Thank you so much for the journal lesson stuff it went really well.) You and Joel together have always been such a great couple both good looking, very generous and great personalities. I'm glad he ended up being good enough for you,:) so you could be a part of this family.
Have a great day!!!
love ya,
Rachel

Well who can follow that one. All I know is when I was little you got me my very own makeup and you were one of my favorites from then on! :) Not to mention taking me to Disneyland and Hawaii with you! You really are such a generous and giving person. (Our house never looked so good, thanks to the hand-me-down furnishings of Joel and Stephanie) I hope you have a great birthday. Love you lots!

Thank you for all the nice comments. I did have a great birthday. My boys spoil me and treat me like a queen. I really didn't want a birthday blog, but it is thoughtful of you all to say such nice things about a bit of a strange person! I am very glad to be part of such a great family and group of people.
Thanks
Steph

Steph - Sorry I'm late. I fell apart after camp (long story).
Anyway, I hope Joel got you something good before he went out of town.
I love that you can sing well. I learned my meager shopping skills from you. I love the fine art of a good bargain. Honestly, I never went shopping growing up - my mom hated it. It really is a skill. I like your jokes & sense of humor and that you know how to have fun. I think it's neat that you were (are) a beauty queen and learned great tricks & wear good makeup! I'm glad that you got your dream house. (I hope it still is.) Someone needed to be able to afford to have the whole family under one roof! :) I think you're the only Biggs sister who's gotten a degree, so that's something to be very proud of. You are compassionate and giving. You have done so much for the Biggs family as a whole and for individuals - it hasn't gone unnoticed. I know you don't think you are confident, but I do & that's something I notice in you. You know what you like & dislike, which is good. Your love language must not be words of affirmation, but it's all we can do on the blog. Have a great year!
