Sister Maria from Tomar. I am about 5'31/2 or so, and I look like a giant beside her. She is so cute. I wish she had smiled because then you could see that she has only 2 teeth...one on the top and one on the bottom, on the left side of her mouth. She talks and talks to me and I never understand anything she says, but I smile when she smiles and nod my head when she nods hers, and we get along just fine.
A street cafe in Obidos. Those purple bouganvilla (sp?) take my breath away. They are everywhere.
