Dad got the boys up early to walk through town with him. They visited the farmers' market.

Irma Dolores invited us to lunch at her house in Peniche. We had a delicious pork roast, rice, carrots, salad and flan (pudding).

We took them to see the farol (lighthouse) point in Nazare where the right side is very turbulent and the left side is quite calm.

Mary is at Banner Desert and in good hands she is seeing the doctors and prenatoligists that we had with the twins. Erika has been a good support for her, She was there when the helicopter landed. Mary was glad to see family she was nerveous. Tyson poor guy, had to turn around and meet Rebecca in Bylas to get his wallet he should just be getting to the hospital. 2:30. The kids are with his mom in Cotton City. We figure Erika and Jer are keeping tabs so Mom and Dad are updated on her.?
Do you guys get up in the morning and plan what your going to wear? Stetson is dying laughing at the "twins playing like two little kids in the sand on the rocks"!

That looks like quite the cozy room. I hear you have trouble keeping warm in there. All I have to say to that is one word, SPOON!
And the sweet little airline PJs really pull off the twin theme of the trip. Make sure one of you wears a distinguishing piece of clothing so we can tell you apart!
But really, everythng looks so beautiful and fun. The arechitecture looks amazing. I can't wait to hear about the castles in Lisboa. And I absolutely love the tiles on everything. The morning walk must be very meditative for Tom with so much beauty and culture around him. T & S I am sure that you will really miss all of the beauty of portugal. You will have culture shock coming back to the desert. But we have had some rain so the weeds in the desert are green right now!
Are the JJ boys doing a lot of smiling and nodding not knowing what anyone is saying? What are all of your portugese frineds thinking about meeting some of your boys? Does having them there make you that much more excited to see all your your children & grandchildren?

We have loved showing Portugal to our "twins" and we have loved showing them to Portugal. Actually, they do understand a little bit. Joel has remembered quite a bit of Spanish and understands surprisingly well, and Jeremy picks up on voice intonation and body language, depending only a little bit on Dad's translations to them. Yes, we will miss beautiful Portugal, but it isn't half as beautiful as our beautiful family whom we have missed for 18 months!!
