crabfest

We went to Mesa last weekend, to visit Grandma and Grandpa and to watch conference with the Mesa kids. We have never done that before, we realized. It was very nice. Joel had us all over for a steak fry/crabfest between the 2nd session on Saturday and Priesthood meeting. Steph was gone to Tucson with Stetson for a volleyball tournament, so he had to host it all by himself. He did great, by the way. And Erika and Jenn cleaned up so well that Stephanie mentioned the next day that she couldn't even tell that there had been a party at her house. We watched the 2nd session on Sunday with Jeremy's family and enjoyed a "Biggs Breakfast/Brunch."
All in all, Conference was wonderful, as it always is. I hope you all got to listen to or watch it. It renews us all for another six months, doesn't it?
Daynen, watching conference.

The annual "crableg eating contest." I think Levi won. Since Stetson was in Tucson,I can't vouch for how well he would have done.

Jenn and Erika keeping aloof from the competition.

Kirtlyn and Ellie wanted me to take a picture of them in the "princess room."

Here are the boys, going to Priesthood meeting that evening. What a handsome group!

Sounds like a fun way to watch conference. I personally would have gone for the steak and endured the crab smell...but looks like a good party.

my comments are finally working...I was so sad to miss out on the crab fest this year. They are actually pretty good Ress. as long as they are drenched in butter! Looks like fun!
