Here it is...December!

December is all about Christmas, of course, and although Dad and I both got bad colds that lasted weeks, we enjoyed our Christmas, celebrating with family. We were able to visit with everyone, either in person, or by phone, during the season...and even visited with Joshua via snail mail. Poor Rachel and DeWitt, whose birthdays were in December, got a little neglected, I'm afraid. We'll try to do better next year, I promise. Thomas Wyatt and Hyrum also had birthdays in December, but we celebrated with them, albeit early, when we were in Mexico.
To start off our Christmas season, we had Grandpa's Polar Express parties in Safford and in Mesa. Some were interested and some had seen it just too many times. But we enjoyed being together anyway and decorating cookies.

I know I already blogged about our trip to Mexico to see Thomas and Jenn's family, but it was so great that I wanted to include another picture of those precious Mexican kids!

My kids loved the Polar express party. Even the big ones. They were sad to think that it might have been cancelled. I think you might have a tradition on your hands. Thanks so much for all you do for our kids.
