CO Biggs September

Just a few pictures from the Colorado Biggs for September...

Albert getting his Arrow of Light
Wood cutting is big for late August early September to prepare for Winter. This was our second load that we actually took to some friends who had fallen behind in their wood cutting. We were wishing we could have had the loads in front of us.
While it looks like everyone was having fun on the lake for Labor Day...we were splitting wood. It was pretty warm so a lake would have been nice but it feels good to have it all done.
From the St. Johns days you'll remember how nice it was to have wood full of pitch. Parker is holding up one of our favorite pieces.

Jonathan even got in on the work...driving the splitter.

Your kids are so blessed that you work together as a family. That way they not only learn how to work, but they connect it with loving family feelings. Thank you for the pictures. Is this just the beginning of a regular monthly blogging from the CO Biggs fam? If so, I can hardly wait.

What a way to be! I seem to remember Elder Christofferson saying in conference that all honest, hard work, is the work of the Lord! Way to go CO Biggs!
Count yourselves as servants of the Lord!
