Here are some pictures, finally. You missionaries will recognize the famous MAP, and there are some of our house. Notice Dad hanging out clothes. Even the nicest apartments have clotheslines outside their windows. Dryers are only in the Lavandarias, which is too bad because it rains so much here. Everyone just leaves their clothes on the line while it rains:) There is also a picture of some of the pink and white villages dotting the hillsides.

Mom & Dad, I can't believe that you are really there. It is so weird to see the pictures, but you both look so good. Do you get to stay in that place your whole mission? What an adventure!!
Love, Rebecca Why did you post at 2:15 am?
Mom and Dad it is so fun to see where your at. Seeing you at the map just makes it real for me that your actually on a mission. Looks like a cool place. Take some pics inside your house too. Love ya
Esther
Hi Mom and Dad. Your pictures make me think of my own mission, and living in different places. We are proud of you for what you are doing.
How close is the ocean? I tried to put your address in Google Earth, but it could not find it (it could only find the name of the city). Is there a more Google-friendly address?
The pictures are great and keep those coming but write more too. It looks great and we pray for you every day and look forward to reading about your experience.
P.S. I'm driving over to SLC right now to visit Connie's grandmother. She's in the hospital and the doctor is referring her to Hospice which means she'll likely soon experience the eternal transfer and be with her companion again on a mission to spirits. Connie and the kids are already there. I'll also check on your car while I'm there...Love ya...
Daniel, I hope that you did not mean that Connie and the kids are already on their eternal transfer to the mission of spirits...We might need a bigger blog post for that.
Rebecca, That's your time. It is now 10:15PM here and 2:15PM in the afternoon for you. We will probably stay here for our whole mission. Although we do a lot of traveling to other towns around. As part of the District Presidency we have reponsiblity for 3 other branches besides Caldas da Rainha. Nathan, We're about 10 minutes from the Atlantic. We can't see it from town, but it's "just over the hill". I doubt there is a better address for Google. I can pull a town map on MapQuest, but it won't zero in on our address. We'll send some more pictures soon. As you can guess, Mom has quite a few. We love you all. Thanks for your prayers and support. Love M & D
Hi Grandma And Grandpa--
Are you in your mission already? Love Crew
Hi there-
I guess Crew thought you were still in Safford. The pictures made it real to him. You look good! The countryside looks beautiful -- wish we were there! Does it feel like work or like vacation?
Stephanie, is it better to talk to you on the blog? Or can you get e-mail? Tell Joel he has to forward our mail to you. Or we can just do it like this if you'd rather. I just didn't know if you would get back on our page after you had already made a comment. Give Crew a big hug for us and tell him we miss him. In fact, do the same for all the boys. We miss them all like crazy. Susan/Grandma
Susan--
I check the blog regularly and so far Joel has forwarded me all your emails. If you have room to add to your addresses you can add me -- stephaniebiggs@cox.net. Have a great day!
Love Stephanie
It is crazy to see you as missionaries, now it is real to us!
I wanted to tell you how much we love the CD of pictures you left us. Thomas put them in on our computer as the screen saver, and even though I have already seen each picture several times, I still find myself stopping to stare at the pictures... enjoying the memories!!
I really love this Blog- Thank you Er- this is the best I have ever keep in touch with anyone before, that I can remember.
Wow, mom and Dad need to blog more often then we all comment :) Good to hear from everyone!
Especially you mom and dad, it's so fun to see pictures, i guess you really did go on a mission and not just cruise the Bahamas huh? :)
