A few more Portugal pics 10-8-06


I wanted to show you the difference between the city, where we live, and the countryside that is only about 5 minutes away. You can almost see this view from your front window and the following view from your back window!

Here is a farmer and his wife working in their cabbage in the country.

Isn't this so Portuguese?

I took this picture when I was walking in the park one morning. Then I sat on a bench to recuperate and Dad walked by (he walks much farther than I do) and I took the following picture.

This is Dad, walking in the park. The neat thing about this picture is that instead of being curled up in bed, sound asleep, I as actually in the park taking this picture!

These pictures remind me so much of Korea...the mix of apartment buildings, and farmers. Even struggles to learn a new language make me remember my own experience. Thanks for the pictures, and thanks for helping me remember.
