I know it's 4:45 am, but I'm here at work sitting at the bedside of a crazy suicidal patient. She is quietly sleeping right now, but not more than 15 minutes ago we were wrestling with her to put her in leather restraints and calm down. She took some alcohol and sleeping pills and was in an uproar for about 4 hours yelling at the top of her lungs. Her dad is here but he is just making her more agitated. It sure makes me greatful for the family I have and the gospel principles that we share. She is a 16 year old kid who has seen more than her fair share of the world. Everytime she would yell abscenities at me I would remember how much a little love is worth. Anyway, that is the few thoughts from an early morning ER observation.

Wow Thomas!You should have watched the Medior Shower when you were done.Me & Lillian watched it on a school night.The best time to do it is from 11-4:30.

Thomas, it is so sad that she has enough trouble in her life that she doesn't want to live it any more. What a blessing to her that you were there to help her. We work with people here who are sad, too...so much potential but because of bad choices, and even bad choices of others, they are wasting away their lives on booze and drugs. We are so blessed to have the Gospel and each other.
