Well it's that time of year here in Mesa that the all of the citrus is blossoming. For those of you who don't have the luxery of being able to enjoy the smells, we thought we'd post a few pictures of our afternoon today after we got home from Church. They also show some of our yard which is almost done - sort of. Hopefully we'll get it done some day. We planted our garden yesterday in our 99 degree weather. It felt hotter than that, but our water slide made it a little more bearable for the kids.

That smell is one of my most favorite of all smells. I loved driving through the citrus groves (which sadly are disappearing) and just taking long deep breaths. Even on the hottest days when you drive through those you can feel the tempurature drop several degrees. Great pictures and cool slide. - Daniel
Fantastic pictures! I'ts funny just last night I was telling Tony how much I miss the smell of the orange blossoms. I whish you could send it. I know Mom would love it too. The closest thing to the actual smell that I have found is a Gold Canyon candle.
My kids are pretending "Summer" too. They asked if they could get the trampoline wet and I told them to wait until Summer. I guess how hot it's been they felt like it was Summer, so this weekend they had the swim'n suits on and the trampoline was wet. Even the twinks got in on it. The news tonight said it's going to cool down to sweat shirt weather again, Tony was very glad to hear that. Although he, when it's 20 degrees outside belives that wearing a sweat shirt or jacket interferes with the bodys ability to "soak it up," since cold weather doesn't last long here he figures he will soak up the cold, to use for later. ?????
Anyway everyone looks great thanks for the pictures.

The orange blossoms here are just budding; they haven't blossomed yet, so we really appreciate the teaser. Flower-filled Portugal has nothing on your back yard. It is beautiful. Thanks for the pictures. We appreciate seeing your beautiful kids. Hayden looks the same, more or less, but Ellie! Wow, how she has grown! It looks like you are going to have a fun-filled, wet summer.
It looks so beautiful and green. I wish it was like that here.

p.s. I loved seeing the pictures.
Im impressed with your backyard. It looks very relaxing. Its already 99 degrees there? I can't believe that. I guess that I have forgotten. Im sure it will all come back rather quickly when we are there in the summer.

I thought my sister Leslie said it best (she was visiting us while we still lived there). "This must be what heaven smells like."
