Today we brought Jonathan home. We're very happy to finally have him here. We were expecting to have an overwhelming transition but so far all is well. Not to say that time won't come but for now all seems well. More to come obviously but for now this is just an introduction.

The reunion this year was great, as always. It was so relaxing not to be in charge! Jan and Kent were our leaders and they did a great job...

You know, Daniel, you can let everyone in on the fact that you named Jonathan after your two older brothers. I am flattered ;-)
I just want to fly out and meet him right now! He is SO cute & does seem to fit right into the family! The video was emotional to me-- I know you worked so hard to get him home! Congradulations!!

I keep making comments that don't show up, and I finally figured out why. I have to sign in first!!! Silly me. And the sad thing is the other comments I made were much more clever and spontaneous. Now I am reduced to trying to remember what I said and I can't. But I do remember that I wanted to say that Jonathan looks really good, and even more important, he looks happy to be with you. You have such a fun home and such a fun, loving family that he will enjoy being a part of it, I know. I hope he also enjoys being a part of the whole Biggs family, too. We are excited to meet him next week. We love you all, Jonathan, included.
Thank you for your great comments. Nathan, Devynne realized the play on his name a few weeks ago and made a similar comment to us. We like the name Jonathan for lots of reasons, not the least of which is his Biblical namesake but my two older brothers are also worthy of being named after.
He woke up this morning a little confused as to where he was and that was a little sad but he's doing well now and continues to get to know each of hi new brothers and sisters.
He looks so cute! I can't wait to meet him in person!

Very emotional... It's amazing how quickly you can love someone. I'm so happy for your family and for ours. What a wonderful additon Jonathan will be. The biggest tear jerker was when Albert helped Jonathan stand up, and all of the kids were right there wanting to help him. What a great opportunity. We are soooo happy for you and for us. Can't wait to meet him in person.
What I really like is that the Biggs family is so loving and welcoming and excited. Let me just say that would never happen in my family.
I loved seeing that too, with Albert helping him jump. Congratulations. Luke asked about him and how old he was I told him it was his new cousin, he was excited to know he was 5. When is his birthday?
Jonathan's birthday is July 22. Shannyn is excited to have a brother who will also be 6. We tried to explain the concept of Irish twins but she just thinks he's her twin.
So is he officially a biggs?Im very excited.
