NE dreams coming true!

This week many of our dreams are coming true!  I got a greenhouse (I included this not-so-great pic for all of the visual people) for only $20 (gave up on the outdoor/window ones), we are getting a fence after 9 years of being in this house (to protect our privacy & food from being stolen & keeping kids safe), and Josh is graduating from school & seminary.   I won't tell you my other personal dreams because I already know I'm weird, but I am crossing my fingers for Mother's Day.

Hope everyone got their graduation announcements.  I have a brother & sister coming this weekend for it, which is really nice and surprising.  We are having a party at our house (other plans fell through) so pray that we'll get our house in order for Joshua's sake - he's a little nervous about it.  We're well aware of our failings but hope to remedy them.  Sounds like this is a big weekend for all of us.  Blog some pix from all the events.  We'll be there in spirit.

Joshua's last day of school & seminary is this Weds - he's not really ready for it, he said.  Probably can't believe it's happening.  You know how you wait & wait for something to happen, then it finally does and then you say "Now what?"  He plans on getting a job now that Nathan will let him & going to Iowa Western in Council Bluffs, IA, this fall.  He's not ready to talk seriously about a mission because he has a lot to experience before then & he gets annoyed when people say "It doesn't matter to you because you'll be gone next year" because he's here now.  We have an Institute social for graduating seniors in 2 weeks & there's a weekly class for prospective elders in our stake - not sure if he's ready for that, either.  Seminary graduation is in 2 weeks; Nathan will probably be teaching again this summer as well as the regular year - no rest for the weary.

Gotta go make Joshua's party invites for his friends.  Have a good, even if busy, week!  Love, Shauna

We received Josh's announcement, and we are sooooo proud of him. Honors, eh? Great! CONGRATULATIONS!!! And so handsome. Just keep the girls at arm's length for now, Josh. I'm afraid they are all going to be hanging around, hoping you will notice them...they'd be crazy not to...just let them know that your mom and your grandmas are the only women in your life for now (right?)
